World Famous Rosés from Wall Street Journal Wine Club
Wow, I never thought this day would come. My wife’s absolute, all-time favorite wine blend is the rosé. Usually blended from a variety of wines such as grenache, syrah, and cinsault, they have a lovely pale rosy color and have flavorful notes of berries and subtle herbs. Perfect for our balmy spring weather and upcoming summer, my wife will be thrilled when she finds out I ordered an entire case of new-vintage, dry Provence rosés! (Hey, she appreciates a dozen rosé more than a dozen roses! 😉 ) I am debating whether or not to also get a pink trio of Petillant de Syrah. Shhh…don’t tell her!
Wall Street Journal Wine Club is featuring Wine Spectator’s latest favorite, Domaine de Paris. Very elegant and romantic, in its traditional curvy bottle. They are also featuring the Domaine Les Gres, with its glass stopper (no corkscrew required!), L’Art Provençal, and Côte d’Azur–all very elegant and mouthwatering aperitifs. They pair excellently with light cheeses and other hors d’oeuvres. Only $14.17 for a bottle, and add a sparkling pink trio of Petillant de Syrah 2019 for only $9.99 a bottle. Don’t miss out!
