Mimosa Season is Here!

I’m so excited! It’s springtime and therefore mimosa season! At least, that’s what Food & Wine Magazine Wine Club told me via email. They’re featuring a dry Italian Prosecco, Adami Garbel Brut Prosecco, the PERFECT warm-weather aperitif. Dry, crisp, light and delicate with pear and citrus flavors, this is the perfect wine for the warm (but not too warm!) weather this time of the year.

I ordered 4 bottles. Two for me and my wife, and two for dinner with some company next week. I think we will be starting off the dinner with some smoked salmon appetizers. Toasted baguette slices topped with Dijon mustard butter, smoked salmon, dill, and some lemon zest to whet our appetites. It’s the perfect pairing to go along with the Adami Garbel. This aperitif also goes along nicely with hors d’oeuvres, salads, and light seafoods such as shrimp and white fish.
